B Inspired
The salon was founded by Brendan O’Sullivan and Wendy Higgins under the name B Inspired in 2005, with two stylists on the corner of Sycamore Road and Rickmansworth Road.
We soon became a qualified Educational Centre, growing in size and now employing Brendan and Wendy’s nephew, Jack, as a stylist.

We soon outgrew our salon on the corner and decided to make a move towards the heart of Amersham, in the middle of the bustling Sycamore Road.
In the new space, we built our hidden Beauty Retreat offering facial and body treatments, as well as manicures, pedicures and a medi-spa.
With Brendan and Wendy’s son, Luke, now Director of Marketing and Branding, we rebranded to Brendan O’Sullivan Hair and Beauty to reflect our family business more accurately.
Fashion Week and The Studio
Brendan’s rise as an internationally recognised Session Stylist opened the door for innovations in our education.
We started taking our stylists to Fashion Weeks around the world so they could learn how trends are created and how to create their own, customised styles.
And back in Amersham, we opened The Studio at Brendan O’Sullivan Hair and Beauty, a new space above the salon that could also be used for photoshoots and events.
BOS
In 2024, it was time for a refresh. So, with some updated colours and shiny new lettering – we shortened our name to BOS Hair and Beauty. “We’re still the same team, but BOS is about the team, not just me, so we updated the name to reflect that.” BOS is about you, the team, and the beauty of simplicity.
